Now
I just finished CIID’s IDP programme in Dec 2019. This personal page will be filled up with my portfolio of work, which I need to do before my memories and documentation are lost to old age, amnesia and entropy…
Back in the Singapore Economic Development Board (“EDB“), I’m working on a (tentatively 3 months) design-research project to flesh out and understand the employee experience in EDB, in order to understand what are the causes of employee fatigue, and what can be done to improve them in terms of digital processes, systems, and new products. After that, I might work as a digital product manager in EDB: tentatively that’s the plan.
I’m currently also in the process of scoping out how a Community of Practice of inhouse designers and product managers could be, within EDB.
I’m giving myself a two+ year timeline at EDB, to improve the organization as best as i can in this timeframe. It’s my way of giving back to the organization that has given so much to me (including my wife: yup, story for another day).
Side Projects
I’m working with IDP ‘17 alum Yee Mun on a project about book sharing. We just started this year.
I’m also working to flesh out ideas for apps to help people improve on their spiritual practices. One app idea is to help one cultivate loving kindness, as well as to let go of one’s anger.

Meditating 30+ mins a day, still.
Working out using GMB.io. This is a gymnastics-based movement programme, which I find to be very nicely structured for beginners like me. It is much friendlier vs. Gymnastic Bodies, as the latter seems (to me at least) to be very focused on “proper” gymnastic form, whereas GMB is much more focused on listening to your own body.
